Wax lotion used for water-based ink, which can solve problems such as scratch resistance, anti sticking and waterproof of paint film

The water-based ink is mainly used in the printing industry. It is flexible and intaglio. The performance of the paint film in the printing process of the ink determines the quality of the printing products, such as the water resistance, anti backtack, scratch resistance, hand feel, gloss, etc. of the ink film. Therefore, it is necessary to add wax lotion into the water-based ink system to improve the performance of the water-based ink.

During the application of wax lotion in water-based ink system, it reacts with resin lotion, and wax lotion gradually transfers to the surface of the ink film, while forming a stable protective layer, which not only reduces the friction coefficient of the paint film, improves the abrasion resistance of the coating, and has a smooth feel, but also changes the contact angle to modify the direction of force on the coating, and improves the scratch resistance of the coating.
